Hey it’s Eddy. With no lab coat on! I’ll make sure to put it back on him before I render everything.

What's your average render time on a 20 sec. animation? And wasn't it hard to get used to the Maya rendering system? I tried Maya on a 3D course and i found it really hard to make things look good in comparison to Cinema 4D, which i'm using now. I really admire you and keep up the good work!

Depends on what is going on with the scene but it would probably take an hour and a half.

Getting used to Maya’s rendering system did take a while and I did run into many errors. I got the hang of it after doing a couple of animations. It just took some time to get used to :)

Why did you choose that kind of skin? From your biggest fan Jason

I have this blue and white polo that I sometimes wear so I thought it would be cool as a Minecraft skin. It also has my channel colors so I thought it would go well together. Nothing too special lol

How long did it take for you to learn maya?

About a month. Buckaroo helped me a lot in the beginning to figure out how everything works. It’s kind of similar to 3ds max except for the tool placement. Also the rendering system works differently so that took a bit to get used to.

Would you say that 12gb would be enough for rendering an animation in maya or would 16gb make a lot more of a difference?

Shouldn’t make a difference I believe. Rendering relies mostly on the processor and a bit on the graphics card. You have plenty of RAM.

Have you seen the movie Video Game High School? Because you look a lot like the main protagonist Brian D.

I have and I’ve gotten a few comments about that before. I guess I can kind of see the resemblance haha.
